TROY University "Sound of the South" Pep Band

The Troy University “Back Court Posse” Pep Band performs at all men’s and women’s home basketball games. Comprised of 30 musicians from all academic disciplines, the “Back Court Posse” entertains the home crowd with exciting jazz and rock arrangements and adds energy to the basketball games to help create an overall, integrated entertainment package. The “Back Court Posse” travels with the men’s and women’s teams to the Atlantic Sun Tournaments, as well as the NCAA Tournament. Membership in the band is by audition, and it meets from mid-November to April.
