TROY University "Sound of the South" Concert Band

The Sound of the South Concert Band is formed primarily from the numerous playing members of the Sound of the South Marching Band and is aimed at providing the wind and percussion student with the finest in literature and performance standards for this medium. This ensemble is designed to serve as both a music laboratory and a performing ensemble as near as professional standards as possible. In addition, the Concert Band is one of the ensembles at TROY that will represent both the School of Music and the university on and off campus for special performances. The Sound of the South Concert Band meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:00 p.m. during the spring semester and is open to the entire student body.
